Entry into the drawing is free, BUT, there is some fine print:
- You MUST be 21 or older to enter
- only ONE entry per person
- the winner MUST pass a background check
- there will be a 3-day waiting period once the background check is submitted
- the winner MUST pick up in person at Gun Cleaners of Colorado in Palmer Lake
- A winner will be drawn and contacted on Saturday, July 6, 2026, and will have 24 hours to respond
- If no response is received, another winner will be drawn
Presidents’ Day: Honoring America’s Leaders
Originally begun in 1800 to honor our nation’s first president, George Washington, the Presidents’ Day holiday evolved to what we know today. On the third Monday in February, we honor all who have served as the United States of America’s President. The day we celebrate the holiday on was changed in 1971 from George Washington’s actual birthday of February 22 to the third Monday of the month; this created a popular three-day weekend for the workforce. Come and see Gun Cleaners of Colorado at the 4th of July Street Fair in Monument from 8am-3pm! It’s our SIXTH year at this fun family event.
Our 1942 World War II jeep will be in our booth (across from Hearth House, catty-corner from Limbaugh Park). Every year, kids of all ages enjoy sitting in the jeep for a great family photo. And you can even take home a souvenir “army man” while supplies last.
