Born and raised in the northern suburbs of Chicago, Mike grew up around guns and hunting. His numerous careers and hobbies have always involved Mike’s appreciation for well-crafted, precision instruments of many types. His previous work includes broadcast television videographer and live truck operator, owner of a scuba diving charter boat business, and a high school athletic administrator. He’s a Porsche and Jeep enthusiast and all-around “McGyver-level” problem solver/tinkerer.

Mike is excited to bring Gun Cleaners of Colorado to Palmer Lake (just north of Colorado Springs) providing a valuable service to firearm owners.  A junior shooting coach since 2007, Mike founded and coached a high school rifle team in Hawaii taking several students (including his oldest daughter) to the state championships multiple years. Mike coaches junior shooters (including his youngest daughter) for the National Training Center Shooting Club at the United States Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs. He is an NRA Rifle Coach and a USA Shooting Level 1 Rifle Official.
